(Juneau) Property tax payments are due by the end of next (January) month.
Dodge County Treasurer Kris Keith is reminding taxpayers that their first installment is due January 31st payable to your local treasurerโs office, not the county.
Keith says that means you cannot use the countyโs online payment system for first installments. You should instead contact your local treasurer to see if they offer online payment options.
If you miss the January 31st deadline for the first installment, then the entire unpaid balance becomes delinquent and is subject to interest and penalties, retroactive to February 1st, at a rate of 1.5-percent per month until paid in full.
If you did not receive your tax bill, Keith recommends contacting your local municipality. She says you can also print your bill from the county website; you will find a link to this news story at DailyDodge.com.
Second installment real estate taxes are due to the Dodge County Treasurer by July 31st.ย ย
