Dodge County Fair Enters Day Two

(Beaver Dam) It’s day two at the Dodge County Fair. At Radio Park, it’s Senior Citizen’s Day with free bingo. Cassidy Lund will perform at 5pm and Music by the Noize hits the Radio Park Stage at 9:30pm.

In the Farm Progress Arena, area youth will show and sell their top animals during the Meat Animal Sale starting at 6:30pm. The sale will also be broadcast live on DailyDodgeTV.

On the grandstand stage tonight, Chris Lane will kick off the free concert series at 8pm.

The weather forecast for the Dodge County Fair is promising, as guests should experience sunny skies and warm temperatures. Vice President of the Fair Association Dale Norenberg says if the dreaded rain does make an appearance, they are prepared.

“In fact we’ve added two more shelters this year…so, even if the “r” word would happen there’s places where you can get under cover and even if the sun is too bright for you…you can get under the shade,” says Norenberg.

Family-friendly activities continue Thursday with pig, duck, and goat races; the Wild World of Animals; and Nick’s Kids Show. Judgings include junior fair rabbit and cavy, arts and science, as well as computer exhibits.

Daily gate admission is $10 before noon and $15 after that. Kids aged nine and under are free. It’s also Kids Day on the midway. The purchase of a $20 wristband gets you unlimited rides between 1pm and 5pm.
