Dodge County Ends 2020 With 122 Coronavirus Deaths

(Dodge County) Wisconsin health officials are reporting 3,810 positive coronavirus cases in Thursday’s daily update. There are 28,607 active cases in the state, an increase of 878 from Wednesday. Active cases make up 5.9-percent of the 481-thousand people who have tested positive to date. So far, there have been 447-thousand recoveries. State health officials recorded 41 deaths bringing that total to 4,859.

Deaths account for one-percent of all cases in Wisconsin while 4.4-percent of those known to have contracted the virus needed to be hospitalized. Of the over one-million people who have died worldwide, the CDC says 341-thousand people were from the United States.

One death was reported in Dodge County Thursday bringing the total to 122 people and 10,387 cases a one-day increase of 31 positive tests. The county had 40 negative tests returned for a running total of 36,624.

Washington County has seen 97 deaths along with 11,710 cases to date. Fond du Lac County has 67 deaths with 10,433 positive tests on record. The state says Jefferson County has seen 57 deaths and 6,602 cases to date. Columbia County has recorded two deaths, for a total of 32, and has had 4,205 positive tests. Green Lake County has reported 10 deaths with 1,389 cases on record.
