The annual Dodge County Dairy Brunch returns Sunday, with this year’s event being held at the Dodge County Fairgrounds.
Dodge County Dairy Ambassador Brenda Conley says organizers are looking forward to welcoming the community out for one of the county’s signature June Dairy Month events.
The brunch will be served from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Youth Building at the fairgrounds. Tickets are available on site only and cost $10 for adults, $5 for children, and children under four get in free.
Conley says the event gives attendees a chance to enjoy a full dairy-focused breakfast while also learning more about local agriculture. The menu includes scrambled eggs with ham and cheese, pancakes, assorted cheeses, deep-fried cheese curds, milk, juice, and Culver’s custard.
In addition to the meal, visitors can check out educational booths, shop local vendors, and listen to live music. Vendors and educational displays will be set up in the Dairy Youth Barn, while live music will take place in Radio Park.
An 8:30 a.m. church service will also be held in the American Legion Pavilion. Those attending the service are asked to bring lawn chairs.
Parking will be similar to parking during the Dodge County Fair, with attendees directed to the large grass field area. Limited handicap parking will be available closer to the Youth Building.
Conley says the brunch typically serves around 2,500 people each year and remains an important way to promote the dairy industry during June Dairy Month.
