Dodge County Communities Receive Infrastructure Funding

(DODGE COUNTY) A few Dodge County communities are getting infrastructure funding from the state. The governor’s office announced that over $18-million-dollars will be going to support community improvement projects in 21 municipalities.

The village of Clyman is getting $1-million for water system, well, and water tower upgrades. The villages of Iron Ridge and Lomira are in line for around $1-million for street and utilities improvements.

Governor Tony Evers will also be traveling the state to highlight the impacts of President Trump’s proposed budget cuts on Wisconsin, including plans to gut a key federal program that helps the state’s rural communities improve and repair local infrastructure.

Evers says Wisconsin cannot afford to let up on its work toward building the 21st-century infrastructure and economy it needs.
