(Beaver Dam) The Dodge County Center for the Arts (DCCA) is displaying their “Beautiful Expressions” exhibit starting on September 21st.
The exhibit features artwork created by individuals with mild cognitive impairment, dementia, and caregivers in the Dodge County area.
DCCA President Kraig Kasten recently shared that the DCCA’s September focus is on mindfulness.
“We were trying to find ways to bring the community in and one of our members had mentioned that maybe we could do something about art being for mental health.”
The Beautiful Expressions exhibit will be on display at the Dodge County Center for the Arts, located at 130 West Maple Avenue in Beaver Dam, until October 27th. More information about the exhibit as well as the DCCA can be found HERE.
