3/7/17 – The Dodge County Executive Committee yesterday discussed naming a representative for the Glacial Heritage Development Board. Jefferson and Dodge County recently entered into the economic development partnership intended to bring jobs to the region. County Administrator James Mielke says the seat does not need to be filled by a county board supervisor, or come from the public sector, and that a private sector individual can be selected. The partnership is intended to provide an opportunity for both counties to work together and share staffing on regional economic development issues. Mielke says they hope to have an appointment to present the Dodge County Board by their March 21st meeting.
