DMV Reminds Voters How To Get ID’s Ahead Of February Primary

(Wisconsin) The Wisconsin Department of Transportation Division of Motor Vehicles (DMV) is reminding voters how to obtain identification ahead of the state Primary on February 20th.

Obtaining identification from the DMV is free of charge. Valid forms of identification include a driver license, identification card, military or student ID card, and more. A list of required documents to bring to the DMV is available HERE.

The DMV also provides a free of charge process called the Voter ID Petition Process (IDPP) that may be used to obtain a receipt to take to the polls while the other documents are obtained over time. Anybody who is unsure if they meet the requirements can visit the Wisconsin Elections Commission website HERE.

Anyone with questions on obtaining a valid ID or related questions can call the DMVโ€™s toll-free hotline. Contact details as well as links to more information can be found at (844) 588-1069 to learn more.

There will also be a primary election for District 31 supervisor on the Dodge County Board. The top two vote getters between incumbent Kevin Burnett, Jared Landsee, and Steve Rydzewski will go onto the April 2nd ballot. The District 31 seat represents Wards 21 through 25 in the city of Beaver Dam.
