(Beaver Dam) The deadline to sponsor the Rotary Lights during the upcoming Christmas season is approaching. Those interested in supporting the seventh annual display of lights, put on by the Beaver Dam Rotary Club, have until September 15th.
The Club is also seeking sponsors to help them enhance the Springhouse Shelter at Swan Park, where the lights and festive decorations are strung. Dodge County Sheriff Dale Schmidt, who chairs the Rotary Lights Committee, says those that are interested in getting involved should head to the Beaver Dam Rotary website.
“We’ve got our website up and running and ready for you to make sponsorships, [and] donations,” Schmidt says. “We’ve had a lot of [them] already.”
Schmidt says he has spoken with WDS Construction about the cost of the potential Springhouse Shelter renovation.
“I’m probably going to have to do this in a couple of phases,” says Schmidt. “But I really could use the community’s help to raise some additional funds.”
