(Juneau) The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office is taking suggestions from the public on how to recognize its employees during upcoming days and weeks of appreciation.
Anyone with a unique idea is asked to reach out to the sheriff’s office via email. Suggestions should be mindful that the office is a taxpayer-funded agency so they must be careful with the expense of county funds.
Ideas incorporating food should also consider the department already has a partnership with Kwik Trip to provide healthy foods such as fruit and water for staff during upcoming weeks.
Suggestions or donations should be shared with Sheriff Dale Schmidt at his email address: [email protected]. Upcoming appreciation days and weeks include National Telecommunicators Week which begins tomorrow (April 14th) through next Saturday (April 20th),
National Administrative Professionals Day on April 24th, National Correctional Officer Week which runs May 5th through the 11th, and National Police Week that runs May 12th through the 18th.
