(Dodge County) The Dodge County Center for the Arts will be displaying several special art collections beginning this Saturday. The exhibit is called “When Words Become Art”. On a recent Community Comment, two collaborators joined us to further preview this series.
Artist Tami Joe DeLisle explains the purpose of the showings. “This show, when words become art, is more about connection.” De Lisle explained. “And that’s what we really wanted to showcase is, the fact that that when artists work together and they bounce ideas off each other, they become better.”
De Lisle and the other collaborator, Jill Wagner, explained how this should connect artists between stories and media. In their description, the intention of the exhibit is to move people into emotion instead of words and find a deeper understanding in seeing each other.
“When Words Become Art” is open from noon until 5pm Wednesday through Friday, 10AM to 3PM Saturday, and Noon to 3PM Sunday. Admission is free. For more information, visit the Dodge County Center for the Arts website. Click HERE to visit the site.
