(Beaver Dam) The Dodge County Center For The Arts is hosting the Art Without A Brush exhibit beginning this weekend. Participants will have the opportunity to learn about the art of oil pastel work and how to create landscape visuals, among others.
The exhibit is led by Steve Strassmann. He says he has an appreciation for what oil pastels can do and notes that itโs a medium that does not have a of a strong following yet.
โThere are several brandsโฆitโs just not a popular mediumโฆI donโt know why,โ says Strassmann. โBut itโs beautiful, I think itโs a beautiful medium to work with.โ
The opening reception is Saturday, March 23rd from 1pm until 3pm, and admission is free. The exhibit runs until April 28th.
