(Beaver Dam) The Dodge County Center for the Arts is holding their next Plein Air meetup later this month. The meeting is going to be held at the Horicon Marsh State Wildlife Visitors Center from 10am to 1pm on December 21st.
Dodge County Center for the Arts President Kraig Kasten invites local artists to reconnect with nature.
“Something we used to do years ago that kind of fell by the wayside and that is to go out somewhere and paint…They do all the arranging, all that. There’s no cost, you just come down, bring your art, bring your art supplies.”
Those planning on drawing outdoors should bring something to sit on. There are benches and folding chairs available for those painting indoors.
No membership or skill level is required. The event is free for those 16-years-old and older.
