(Dodge County) Wisconsin health officials are reporting 3,675 positive coronavirus cases in Saturday’s daily update. There are 38,351 active cases in the state, a decrease of 541 from Friday. Active cases make up 8.4-percent of the 455-thousand people who have tested positive to date. So far, there have been 412-thousand recoveries. The state reported 84 deaths bringing that total to 4,399. Deaths account for one-percent of all cases in Wisconsin while 4.4-percent of those known to have contracted the virus needed to be hospitalized. Of the over one-million people who have died worldwide, the CDC says 312-thousand people were from the United States. Dodge County has experienced 106 deaths, an increase of five from Friday, and 9,999 cases; a one-day jump of 124 cases. The county had 128 negative tests returned for a running total of 35,817. Washington County recorded two additional deaths Saturday for a total of 92 along with 10,861 cases to date. Fond du Lac County has reported 60 deaths with 9,942 positive tests on record. The state says Jefferson County has seen 51 deaths, one more than on Friday, and 6,217 cases to date. Columbia County has now experienced a 24th deaths and has had 3,990 positive tests. Green Lake County has reported 10 deaths with 1,346 cases on record.
