Contested School Board Races In Columbus, Waupun, Juneau

(Dodge County) There are a number of school board seats coming due in April.

In Columbus, four candidates are vying for three open seats. Incumbents Kelly Crombie and Julie Hoffmann filed non-candidacy papers while current school board president Cindy Damm is seeking reelection. John Pearson, Lee Trask and Travis Heiman also filed papers.

There are three people running for two open school board seats in Waupun. Incumbents Jennie Patrykus and Dylan Weber are facing a challenge from Stephen Chene.

All three incumbents in Mayville are running unopposed. In City Four Zone, Tatiana Shirasaki and Jennifer Fink are seeking reelection while Richard Fink is looking to retain his seat in Zone Two East.

In Horicon, Jim Grigg is running unopposed for his city of Horicon seat; Grigg -as we just reported- is also running unopposed for mayor. Nathan Hodgson is not facing any challengers for his town of Burnett position. Janelle Nicolausย  is looking to be elected for a full term representing the Village of Iron Ridge and Kekoskee. She served as interim after Eric Krause-Emerick moved in May of 2019.

At Dodgeland, incumbent Stacy Schmitt is looking to retain her seat representing Juneau and the town of Oak Grove. Mick Rennhack has filed paperwork to fill the open seat left by incumbent Troy Scliesman who filed non-candidacy papers. Carla Nico and Bruce Haan are vying for one open at large seat after incumbent Anthony Cox filed non-candidacy.

There are no challenges in Beaver Dam where incumbents Laura Lerwick, Joanna Tyjeski and Lisa Panzer are all seeking another term.
