12/5/17 – A competency exam was ordered Monday for an inmate at the Waupun Correctional Institution accused of assaulting a prison guard. Jessy Przewrocki is facing one felony count of Battery by Prisoner. In March, Przewrocki allegedly head butted a corrections officer while he was being cuffed in his cell, injuring the guards eye. The 23-year-old reportedly broke free and ran towards the restrictive housing unit but was tripped up when his pants fell to the ground. A second officer then assisted in securing Przewrocki. The guard was treated at Waupun Memorial hospital for her injuries. If convicted, Przewrocki faces an additional six years in prison.
