(MAYVILLE) An effort to establish a new family medical clinic in Mayville is moving forward. The city’s Health and Medical Advisory Committee met on Tuesday. Members agreed the results of a December survey make it clear that establishing a new clinic is a priority of the community.
SSM Health closed the only clinic in Mayville in September. Committee President Alan Williams said he’s reached out to two providers, Nexus Health Group and Aambe Healthcare.
Mayor Rob Boelk told Daily Dodge that Mayville residents have had to drive to Brownsville or Fond du Lac to see a doctor.
