Columbus Football Rolls Into D4 State Quarterfinals

The Columbus High School football team advanced to the WIAA Division Four State Quarterfinals with a 55-24 win over Baldwin-Woodville (7-3) on Saturday afternoon.

Colton Brunell carried the ball 27 times for 191 and six touchdowns to pace the Cardinals offense.  Conner Roche carried it nine times for 133 yards and an 80 yard TD.  Nathan Cotter also ran for 37 yards and a pair of scores. 

Columbus (11-0) will host Ellsworth next week in a Division Four State Quarterfinal.  You will be able to watch that game on DailyDodge TV and hear it on 95.3 WBEV.
