Columbus Faces Catholic Memorial In D4 Semifinal Tonight On 95X

The Columbus High School football team heads to Walworth Big Foot High School tonight for a WIAA Division Four State Semifinal against Waukesha Catholic Memorial.   Columbus (11-1) advanced to the state semifinal with a 44-7 win over Kewaskum while Catholic Memorial (12-0) advanced with a 44-0 blanking of Denmark.

Catholic Memorial was ranked #1 in the final Wissports.net Division Four Coaches Poll while Columbus came in 6th.  Catholic Memorial has won WIAA state football championships win 2016, 2018, and 2019.   Columbus won a pair of state titles in 1990 and 1996.

Tonight’s game kicks off at 7pm.  Mike Throndsen and Tim Haldiman will have the call.  You can listen to the game on 95X and the audio will stream at DailyDodge.com.

The winner will face either Ellsworth or Freedom next Thursday night in the Division 4 State Championship Game.
