(Columbus) The Columbus Council approved a resolution supporting a Vibrant Spaces Grant from the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation.
If awarded, the grant would pay for half of a project for the restoration of the Rest Haven shelter in Firemanโs Park up to a grant amount of $50,000, with the total cost of the project being $100,000. The project scope includes new accessible doors and the needed electric for the doors to operate.
The Columbus Historical Land and Preservation Commission has raised matching funds to fulfill the one-to-one match.ย
