(WAUPUN) Health and safety leaders in Waupun are praising a collaborative partnership between the city’s fire department and local hospital. The collaboration has proven vital in both routine and emergency situations.
SSM Health Waupun Memorial Hospital’s Plant Operations Brian Fryman says whether it be a minor gas leak or a major catastrophic event, they know the combined partnership of continuous learning, inspections, preparation, and devotion between the hospital and fire department will be ready to face any circumstances the community is confronted with.
Fire Chief B.J. DeMaa says from joint training exercises to real-world emergency responses, their teams have continually demonstrated a commitment to excellence and preparedness. DeMaa adds that this partnership is a model of effective public-private collaboration.
