Beaver Dam Common Council Meets

 (Beaver Dam) The Beaver Dam Common Council met with a light agenda Monday Night. After a discussion on the city’s debt, they passed a resolution providing for the sale of a 11-point-six-five million dollars in General Obligation Promissory Notes 10-1 with Ward 6’s Ken Anderson voting no.   Other topics on the agenda, including a resolution for an Inflation Reduction Act Urban Forestry Grant Applicant, A resolution awarding a contract for the Kellom Road Extension Project, a resolution adopting the first Amendment to the Stoney Ridge Development Agreement, and approving a Temporary Class B Beer and Wine licenses to the Beaver Dam Chamber for “Taste of Wisconsin” passed with little discussion.  Mayor Mike Wissell also presented a proclamation to the American Legion Women’s Auxiliary for Poppy Day.   The next Meeting is scheduled for Monday, June 3rd.
