Carol F. Baerwolf, 84, of Beaver Dam passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, March 16, 2026.
Carol was born on March 30, 1941 the daughter of Wilbert and Evelyn (Fay) Macksam in Mayville, Wisconsin. On May 20, 1961 she was married to William Baerwolf. She worked at Green Giant and Weyenberg Shoe Factory before becoming a homemaker.
Carol enjoyed hosting fish fries for family and friends, playing cards, shaking dice, shopping and watching game shows with her dog on her lap.
Carol will be deeply missed by her husband William “Willie”; her daughters: Debra Loeck (Ken Schmuhl) and Sandra Baerwolf (Harlan Binder); grandchildren: David (Yorly) Schwandt, Alan (Jennifer) Schwandt and Michelle (Nate) Eedy; 8 great grandchildren; her brother William (Nancy) Macksam; sister-in-law Mary Baerwolf, other relatives and friends.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Evelyn and Wilbert Macksam; sisters Jacqueline Macksam and Beverly (Earl) Munro; father and mother-in-law Willie and Sadie Baerwolf, brothers and sisters-in-law: Robert Baerwolf, Leonard (Ella) Baerwolf, Russell Baerwolf and Helen (Charles) Lester.
A visitation for Carol will be held on Wednesday, March 25, 2026 at First Ev. Lutheran Church, 311 W. Mackie St., Beaver Dam from Noon until 1:00 p.m. A funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Jim Wendt officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Memory Gardens, Township of Trenton, Wisconsin.
