Car Crashes into Washington County Home

(FARMINGTON) One person is recovering from serious injuries after a car crashed into a house near West Bend Sunday. The Washington County Sheriff’s Office says deputies were called around 12 P.M. to a home on Highway J in the Town of Farmington.

Investigators say two of the three people in the car had gotten into an argument, and the distracted driver left the road, drove through a ditch, and went airborne before hitting the house. One person in the car was seriously injured and had to be flown to the hospital. There were people in the house at the time. The house is badly damaged, but no one inside was hurt.

County H was closed for about three-and-a-half hours.
