Campbellsport Police Chief Retires

(Campbellsport) After six years serving as Campbellsport Police Chief and 45 years in law enforcement Tom Dornbrook has retired. He put in his last day with the Village Tuesday.

Village officials extended their thanks and gratitude to Chief Dornbrook for his years of service to the Village. Andrea Dowland is the new Campbellsport chief. She is a Fond du Lac County resident and has served as a deputy with the sheriff’s department since 2010.

Dowland told village officials she wants to build a strong relationship between the police department and residents as well as business owners. Her goals include educating parents on drug signs and symptoms, rewarding teens for wearing seatbelts, education and awareness of building security for business owners, and continuing the department’s goal of school safety emphasizing improved school crossings.

A meet and greet with Chief Dowland is being planned.
