(Beaver Dam) A Wisconsin Supreme Court candidate made a campaign stop in Beaver Dam Friday.
Brad Schimel was at the Park Village Shopping Center speaking with supporters.
“My opponent…they talk all about Elon Musk…you know what they’re trying to distract from…four out of every five donors to my opponent’s campaign does not live in Wisconsin…so people from California, they want to decide who is on the Wisconsin Supreme Court…I’m not down with that,” says Schimel.
There was also a group of people protesting Schimel who carried signs that read: “No DOGE” and “Musk hates judges who do their job” and “Schimel belongs to Musk – Crawford belongs on the WI Supreme Ct” and “Our Courts=Not 4 Sale.” A contingent of the protestors also chanted “Wisconsin is not for sale” when Schimel started to address his supporters.
Also in attendance was Senator Ron Johnson and state Republican Party Chair Brian Schimming. Schimel is facing Susan Crawford for a 10-year term on the Wisconsin Supreme Court.
