Bond Set At $2 Million For Suspect In Fond Du Lac Reckless Homicide Case

(Fond du Lac) Cash bond has been set at $2-million-dollars for a suspect in a reckless homicide case in Fond du Lac. Annaka Trudell could be charged with First-Degree Reckless Homicide in the death of 33-year-old Ashley Ann Calo of West Bend.

During a court hearing in Fond du Lac County court Tuesday, the 20-year-old appeared via video from the Fond du Lac County Jail. Prosecutors have listed 21-year-old Dawson Miller as a co-defendant in the case. He faces possible charges of Harboring a Felon and Disorderly Conduct.

Fond du Lac Police found Calo slumped over the wheel of her vehicle which had crashed in the area of North Main Street on February 13th. She was unresponsive and died later at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac.

Prosecutors allege Miller may have assisted Trudell in a drug transaction that resulted in Caloโ€™s death. He reportedly admitted to hiding Trudellโ€™s clothing. At the time of his arrest he had her ID and credit cards. Millerโ€™s cash bond was set at $1-million-dollars.
