Bierman Appointed to Beaver Dam Common Council

(BEAVER DAM) Beaver Dam’s District 6 has a new alder. The Common Council appointed Jeff Bierman Monday night. He was one of four candidates who recently applied for the seat Ken Anderson resigned from in September. The other applicants were Mark Christiansen, Naomi Davis, and Devin Scharf.

Bierman told the Common Council he wants to provide balanced and steady leadership.

“That’s the approach I will bring to this council: a steady hand, a practical mindset, and a commitment to decisions based on facts, not fear,” said Bierman. “I want to help create an environment where our residents feel heard, supported, and confident that their city’s being guided with clarity and purpose.”

Bierman was sworn in immediately and will serve the remainder of Anderson’s term. Bierman told Daily Dodge he has lived in Beaver Dam for five years, and that he works at the Walmart distribution center. He said he plans to take out nomination papers in December and run for the seat in April.
