The Beaver Dam High School football team won their third straight game with a 41-7 blowout at Kewaskum (0-7, 0-3) on Friday night.
Beaver Dam controlled this one from the start. Parker Blank capped off the Golden Beavers first drive of the game with a nine yard TD run around the right side with 6:50 left in the first quarter. After a Kewaskum missed field goal, Brock Hiley the next snap 80 yards to the house to push the BDHS lead to 14-0 with 2:16 left in the opening quarter.
Blank punched it in for his 2nd touchdown of the night from one yard out to make it 21-0 BD early in the 3rd. That came just one play after the game was delayed for 30 minutes after Hiley injured his ankle fighting to reach the goal line. With 9:01 left in the first half, Blank went 59 yards for his 3rd TD of the night to push the lead to 28-0. Blank then added a 15 yard run with 6:40 left in the half to extend the lead to 35-0. Eli Johnson returned the 2nd half kickoff 91 yards for a touchdown to make it 41-0. Kewaskum’s Gavin Madel scored Kewaskum’s only TD with a short TD run with 8:26 left in regulation.
Beaver Dam outgained Kewaskum 340-205. All of BD’s yards were on the ground. Blank finished 140 yards on just 11 carries to go along with his 4 TDs. Hiley had 145 yards on six carries before leaving early in the 2nd quarter. Kodiak Kocinski finished with 37 yards on the ground.
Beaver Dam’s defense held Kewaskum’s passing attack to just 28 yards through the air.
