Beaver Dam and Watertown meet for the 104th time at HH Derleth Field tonight in a game you can hear on 1430 ESPN and watch on DailyDodge TV.
The Golden Beavers (2-3, 1-0) manhandled Kewaskum 37-0 in their East Central opener last week, while Watertown (1-4, 0-1) dropped their league opener to 3rd ranked Plymouth 40-7 last week.
QB Davis Cashin leads the Goslings offense with 4 TD passes and 540 passing yards. He’s also the team’s leading rusher with 275 yards and 4 TDs. Brady Crane has 4 sacks to top the Goslings defense.
Parker Blank holds the hot hand in the backfield for BDHS, rushing for 515 yards and 7 TDs. He also tossed a 68 TD pass in last week’s win over KML. Ashtyn Seifert has returned a pair of interceptions for touchdowns this season, while Malakhi Richter-Horton has 3 sacks. Brock Hiley has returned three kickoffs for touchdowns this season.
Beaver Dam won last year’s matchup in Watertown 37-7. Eli Bryant tossed a pair of TDs and ran for another to pace the BD offense. Josiah Barnes ran for 204 yards and a TD as well for the Golden Beavers. Malik Mitchell ran for 67 yards and a TD for the Goslings.
Watertown leads the all-time series 57-43-3.
