(BEAVER DAM) A donation allowed Beaver Dam High School to launch its second robotics team. A $1,500 grant from the Beaver Dam Education Fund, part of the Beaver Dam Area Community Foundation, supported the purchase of robot kits and essential supplies.
Team Advisor Melissa Hemling says this allows more students to gain hands-on STEM experience and build skills in teamwork, leadership, and problem solving.
The Beaver Dam Education Fund has provided grants for creative and impactful projects in the Beaver Dam Unified School District since 2021. Over the past four years, the Fund has awarded 36 grants totaling more than $46,000.
