The Beaver Dam High School/Wayland wrestling will have a chance to win a Badger East championship on Saturday at the conference at Milton. The Golden Beavers and host Red Hawks tied for the regular season league lead with 6-1 dual meet records so whichever team finishes higher at the Badger meet will be crowned league champion for the 2022-23 season.
Beaver Dam’s only other wrestling conference championships came in the Wisconsin Little Ten during the 2002-03 & 2005-06 seasons.
