Beaver Dam Women’s Health Joining Marshfield Clinic Health System

(Beaver Dam) Beaver Dam Women’s Health announced Monday that it will join the Marshfield Clinic Health System. The entire Women’s Health team has signed on to stay with the practice. That includes the practice’s co-founder, Dr. Ken Ostermann, who says the “transition builds on the mission and commitment” made to the community more than 25 years ago, expanding their reach and extending services to even more Beaver Dam residents.

There will be a name change, to Marshfield Medical Center-Beaver Dam Women’s Health, but the practice will maintain many of its current operations including its location inside the hospital campus. The practitioners will continue to work out of the third floor of the Vita Park Medical Building, adjacent to Marshfield Medical Center-Beaver Dam. The entity offers comprehensive women’s health services, including obstetrics, certified nurse-midwifery, gynecology and minimally invasive surgery. Dr. Ostermann is also board certified in urogynecology.

Marshfield Medical Center-Beaver Dam offers more than a dozen specialties to the community, including dermatology, cardiology, pulmonology, urology and more, with the intention that patients receive care from in-network specialty providers close to home.

Marshfield Medical Center-Beaver Dam Chief Administrative Officer Angelia Foster says the addition of Women’s Health continues the hospital’s commitment to providing local access to high-quality and timely care.

The transition will be final later this spring.
