Beaver Dam, Watertown Hospitals Partner To Keep More Cardiac Care Local

(Beaver Dam) Hospitals in Beaver Dam and Watertown have partnered to keep more cardiac care local. Marshfield Medical Center – Beaver Dam and Watertown Regional Medical Center announced Monday that they have reached an agreement to allow Beaver Dam’s Interventional Cardiologist Dr. Harinder Gill to perform catheterization procedures at the Watertown facility.

The arrangement allows patients to see Gill in his cardiology clinic on Beaver Dam’s main campus for consultations and follow-up visits and have catheterization procedures in Watertown’s state-of-the-art Cath lab in Watertown. A Cath lab is a specialized area inside a hospital where minimally invasive procedures are performed to help diagnose and treat blockages and other heart related issues.

Marshfield Medical Center – Beaver Dam President Angelia Foster says ensuring more people have access to high quality care closer to where they live remains one of their top priorities and this collaboration with Watertown is a great example of putting patients first.

Watertown Regional Medical Center CEO Richard Keddington says they are proud to work with Beaver Dam to provide Gill and his patients access to their newly renovated Cath lab.

In early 2023, WRMC revamped their Cath lab to include the latest technology and provide a better experience for the patient and physician.
