On Monday, the Beaver Dam Trap Team traveled to the West Bend Barton Sportsman’s Club to face the West Bend High School Trap Team in its first Kettle Moraine Trapshooting Conference meet of the season. A total of 37 athletes made the trip.
The varsity squad opened the season with a close loss, falling 231–227. The top five varsity scores were:
- Preston Lund – 48
- Alex Radichel – 46
- Zach Steele – 46
- TJ Rechek – 44
- Gabe Henriksen – 43
The JV squad earned a convincing win, defeating West Bend 198–182. The top five JV scores were:
- Mitchell Raue – 45
- Leo Busse – 43
- Colton Rechek – 37
- Clayton Paul – 37
- Eva Nehring – 36
Preston Lund also recorded a perfect round of 25.
Next week, Beaver Dam travels to Mayville to take on the Flyway Clay Slayers.
