The Beaver Dam High School softball team will open its 2026 season Friday afternoon, hosting Fond du Lac at the new on-campus softball facility located behind the football field off McKinley Street.
The Golden Beavers return four All-Badger Large Conference players from last year’s Reginal Championship team, that finished 16–11 and tied for third place in the conference. Senior Emma Julka and junior Kendall Fakes earned First Team All-Badger Large honors. Senior Mady Bryant was a Second Team selection, while junior Celly Loomans received Honorable Mention recognition.
Fakes, a University of South Carolina commit, was also named First Team All-State by the Wisconsin Softball Coaches Association in 2025.
Friday’s game will be broadcast on DailyDodge TV and 1430 ESPN Beaver Dam, with first pitch scheduled for 5 p.m. Coverage begins at 4:45pm
