(Beaver Dam) An investigation of a possible threat at the Beaver Dam High School was later deemed to be not credible. Superintendent Mark DiStefano said in an email students reported hearing statements this week that could be concerning and considered a threat.
He says although there was very little detail or specific evidence, the administration took every effort to respond in a thorough and precautionary manner while investigating any and all leads. DiStefano says it has been determined that there is nothing that would suggest that there was a credible threat.
The Beaver Dam Police Department has increased its presence around the facility as a preventative measure.
