(BEAVER DAM) Beaver Dam School District voters approved 107-million dollars for new projects last November, including expanding Washington Elementary. This spring, new walls are in place, and the roof is coming on soon.
โSo that is on time,โ said Superintendent Mark DiStefano. โAnd other parts, what we have dubbed Phase Two, is probably going to wind up being ahead of schedule.โ
Another project is the new middle school, with bigger classrooms, better technical education, along with a new fitness center and outdoor practice fields. The public should start noticing changes this fall.
โThereโs a lot of people who want to work in Beaver Dam right now and be part of these projects. So we should get some nice competitive bids,โ said DiStefano.
