Beaver Dam’s Washington Elementary School Construction On Schedule

(BEAVER DAM) Beaver Dam School District voters approved 107-million dollars for new projects last November, including expanding Washington Elementary. This spring, new walls are in place, and the roof is coming on soon.

โ€œSo that is on time,โ€ said Superintendent Mark DiStefano. โ€œAnd other parts, what we have dubbed Phase Two, is probably going to wind up being ahead of schedule.โ€

Another project is the new middle school, with bigger classrooms, better technical education, along with a new fitness center and outdoor practice fields. The public should start noticing changes this fall.

โ€œThereโ€™s a lot of people who want to work in Beaver Dam right now and be part of these projects. So we should get some nice competitive bids,โ€ said DiStefano.

DiStefano is featured on the latest edition of WBEVโ€™s โ€œLetโ€™s Talkโ€ show, which you can hear at Daily Dodge.com.
