(Beaver Dam) A Beaver Dam man was charged Tuesday with possessing an illegal drug. Mark Burruss is facing a felony count of Possession with Intent to Deliver Cocaine as well as a misdemeanor charge of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Beaver Dam police conducted a search warrant at Burrussโ residence in July. During the search, authorities reportedly found drug paraphernalia and controlled substances.
According to the complaint, law enforcement recovered eight bags containing crack cocaine. Its combined weight totaled 7.4 grams. When questioned, Burruss allegedly admitted that he was planning to sell the drugs.
If convicted, the 49-year-old faces up to 15 years in prison. An initial appearance is scheduled for October 24th.
