(Beaver Dam) Beaver Dam Loaves and Fishes recently received a $2,000 grant from the Beaver Dam Area Community Foundation. The grant will be used to continue their mission, which is to serve a weekly hot meal to everyone in Beaver Dam and the surrounding areas.
There are no income requirements, and everyone is welcome. Meals are served every Tuesday from 4pm to 5:30pm at First Lutheran Church located at 311 W. Mackie Street.
Since the program’s inception in 2022, it has served over 65,000 meals to over 30,000 households. Officials with the program say they are very grateful for the community foundation’s support.
