Beaver Dam Lake Improvement Association To Host Banquet Dinner In April

(Beaver Dam) The Beaver Dam Lake Improvement Association will be holding their 2023 banquet dinner next week. The fundraiser, now in its 27th year, raises money which goes towards lake projects to improve water quality, the fishery, and the wildlife habitat. Association Member Susan Baloun says the organization is very excited for this year’s banquet.

“The years just really fly by,” says Baloun. “It’s hard to believe we’re at twenty seven years already, and I also feel like we just got done planning last year’s, and we’re right away planning again for this year’s.”

Doors will open at the Bayside Super Club in Beaver Dam at 5:15pm on the night of the event, with a meal at 6:45pm. Options include prime rib, a fish platter, which includes shrimp cod, and perch, and a vegetarian meal. There will also be boards, a gun raffle event, and a $1,000 dollar grand prize.

“A Yeti Cooler with meat from LeRoy’s Meat in Fox Lake, there’s a 70 inch TV, Frank Middlestadt is providing us a framed original pencil drawing,” says Association Member Alan Mannel. “We have dinner packages. There’s also a sunset cruise on a pontoon boat with appetizers for eight people.”

Other items included in the grand prize include Milwaukee Brewers tickets, pheasant hunting trip from Cedar Hill Game Farm, and a guided fishing trip.
