(Beaver Dam) The public is invited to attend the Beaver Dam Lake Improvement Association’s (BDLIA) annual meeting next week. There are several presentations planned including an update on lake management projects. “Beaver Dam Lake Past, Present and Future” will discuss information obtained during the yearlong Water Resource Management study done by UW grad students. A presentation by the Dodge County Healthy Soil – Healthy Water Alliance will show the positive practices being promoted by area farmers which impact the lakes long term water quality. Attendees will also be given updates on the formation of a Beaver Dam Lake District. Association President Bill Boettge says this annual meeting is a time to hear the concerns of our members and get their suggestions and comments. The meeting will be held at the Watermark Community and Senior Center in Beaver Dam next Saturday (August 25) beginning at 9am. Coffee and rolls will be served at 8:30am.
