Beaver Dam Hires Engineer To Design Swan Park Lagoon Restoration Plans

(Beaver Dam) The Beaver Dam Common Council Monday night hired an engineer to draw up designs for the restoration of the lagoon at Swan Park. The brick walls of the natural water feature at the historic park have been sagging in recent years. The city included $445-thousand dollars in their capital borrowing plan to address the issue, along with $1.4-million dollars planned over two years to replace the aging wading pool with a splash pad. MSA Professional Services of Baraboo will perform the engineering services for $65-thousand dollars.
