Beaver Dam High School’s All Shook Up Hitting The Stage Thursday

(Beaver Dam) Students from the Beaver Dam High School will be hitting the stage to perform the musical “All Shook Up” later this week. The show is a mashup of Elvis Presley and William Shakespeare. Director Mark Lefeber says the most important detail people should know is that it is named after the Elvis Presley song of the same name.

“Every song in the show is an Elvis song,” says Lefeber. “So, if you like Elvis, guaranteed you’re gonna enjoy the show.”

Lefeber says that the characters will be based on the comedies of Shakespeare and will be speaking in 1950s dialogue. He adds that this is not the first time Beaver Dam High School has performed this show.

“Interestingly in 2008, Beaver Dam High School did this show,” Lefeber says. “So, we are the second time we’re doing. I kinda think that’s fun that we’re like the revival cast of ‘All Shook Up.’”

“All Shook Up” will be hitting the stage in the Beaver Dam High School Auditorium beginning this Thursday at 7:30pm. Additional shows are Friday November 10th and Saturday November 11th, also at 7:30pm, with a matinee show at 2pm on Sunday November 12th. A link to purchase tickets is available HERE.
