Beaver Dam high School Bowling Update 12/11/23

The Beaver Dam High School Bowling teams competed Sunday, for consecutive weeks, at Cardinal Lanes in Mayville.

The boys took on district leader Lomira in match 1. Coming out of the gates strong, the Beavers took a 3 game to 0 lead. Lomira found a good look late winning the final 4 games to win the match 5-4. Match 2 was a convincing 8 games to 1 victory over Johnson Creek. The boys sit in a 3 way tie for 3rd in District 6 standings.

The girls handily beat Johnson Creek 6-2 in match 1. In match 2 against Fort Atkinson the Beaver girls, for the third consecutive week, got locked into a 4-4 tie entering the final game. Fort Atkinson edged the Beavers 168-159 to take the match. The Beaver girls lead the District 6 Girls division with a 2 point lead.

Sophomore Garrett Boettcher and senior Alexis Vande Kolk both move into 3rd place in individual standings in their respective divisions.

The Beavers will continue their season Sunday December 17th at Watertown Bowl North.
