Beaver Dam Girls Win Season Opener By 80!

The three-time defending state champion Beaver Dam High School girls basketball team went on a 53-0 run to start the game and rolled by Portage 96-16 in their season opener on Tuesday night.  Portage didn’t score their first basket until there was 2:01 left in the 1st half.  Senior Maty Wilke and sophomore Kylie Wittnebel led the way with 16 points each.  Senior Avery Stonewall added 12 and senior Natalie Jens chipped in 11.  Beaver Dam will host Plymouth on Saturday afternoon.  The JVs tip at Noon and the Varsity at 1:3opm.  You will be able to watch both games on the DailyDodge.com videostream presented by Columbus Family Dental and QBS Law.
