The Beaver Dam girls’ basketball team (7-2) is on the road to take on DeForest (7-6) in what will be their second of two consecutive conference games away from the BDHS Fieldhouse.
Golden Beavers Aim To Regain Footing
The Golden Beavers are fresh off their first conference loss, as they fell 58-51 to Waunakee on Friday.
Now 4-1 in Badger Large Conference play, Head Coach TJ Julka said he has confidence knowing this group still controls its own destiny in route to a divisional crown.

Junior Nataya Donaldson, who has received a Division I college offer from UW-Milwaukee, leads all Golden Beavers at 18.4 points per game. Donaldson currently has 813 career points.
Norskies Flex Depth, Young Scoring Punch
DeForest fell short against Monona Grove. 56-47 last Friday in a losing effort that snapped their three-game losing streak.
Sophomore Lucy Gonzalez has cracked the starting lineup and is shooting much more efficiently as of late. After starting the year off shooting 4-for-20 from the field, Gonzalez is 19-for-35 and averages 6.7 points per game.
The Norskies are 2-3 in Badger Large competition, and they’ve found themselves in low-scoring, hard-fought battles as of late.
Jeffrey Schwenn’s group bring a spread-out attack to the table, as they have five different players scoring at league five points per game.
Sophomore Alexis Accuardi paces the offense with 10.4 points per game while shooting an impressive 55% from the field.
Key Matchup Information
Beaver Dam swept last season’s series with scores of 55-39 and 52-40. Donaldson logged a 22-point performance while shooting 5-for-6 from beyond the arc in the second matchup of last season.
Tip-off is scheduled for 7:15 PM on 1430 ESPN Beaver Dam.
