(BEAVER DAM) The Beaver Dam Fire Department is improving its investigation skills. The agency recently hosted a basic fire investigation course. Numerous other departments from the area also attended.
The five-day course provided fire investigation training for both law enforcement and fire service agencies in the state. It also included courses on fire science, scene safety and security, incident analyzation, and various other topics.
Rayburn Fire Scene Investigations was one of several organizations that taught the classes. The company is a licensed and fully insured investigation service, specializing in fire origin and cause investigation.
The course ended with a written exam and a practical assessment at the Beaver Dam Fire Department Training Center.
