Beaver Dam Families Invited to Free Community Christmas Dinner

(BEAVER DAM) Families in Beaver Dam will have a chance to share a free holiday meal next week — complete with Santa, gifts for kids and a warm place to connect with neighbors.

The Beaver Dam Police Department and Beaver Dam Police Charities are hosting a community Christmas dinner on December 18 at 4:30 p.m. at The Watermark. The event is open to everyone, and organizers say it’s meant to bring people together during a season that can feel stressful or isolating for many.

Children can visit with Santa between 4:30 and 5:30 p.m., and each child will receive a free gift. Dinner follows at 5:30 p.m., catered by Go Dutch of Waupun.

The meal is free, but attendees need a ticket.

Officer Matt Bublitz says they want to create space for the community to sit down together.

“If you’re available and wanna come have a free holiday meal with some community members and members of the police department, stop on by,” he said. “Tickets are available at the police department and also at the Watermark. We will be closing off the tickets Friday, December 12.”
