Beaver Dam DPW Waste Drop-Off Site Open Six Days A Week

(Beaver Dam) The City of Beaver Dam yard waste drop-off site is open six days a week. The site, located at the Department of Public Works garage on 640 South Center Street, is open Monday through Friday 7am to 3:30pm and Saturday’s 10am to 2pm. Residents can drop off tree branches and brush from tree trimming and high winds. Yard waste and grass clippings need to be separated and emptied from bags.

Metals, appliances not containing refrigerants, batteries, waste oil and antifreeze are also accepted. Citizens are allowed to take wood chips and compost from the yard site. During winter months, a sand/salt mixture will still be available to city residents free of charge. The city is no longer supplying gravel, stone, screenings or topsoil to the public.

The yard waste drop-off site is only open to city residents. Residents may drop off tree branches and brush from tree trimming and high winds but not from a tree removal. Lawn and garden tree removal contractors are not allowed to bring branches and brush or grass clippings to the drop-off site.
